Obituary

B. Anne Stockton, 91, of Kendallville died Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at 4:15 a.m. in Lutheran Life Villages, Kendallville.

She was a lifetime area resident.

Mrs. Stockton was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Kendallville, where she worked as secretary for 35 years.

She was born April 7, 1925, in Fort Wayne to William and Wilma (Johnson) Shoner.

On September 15, 1956, in Kendallville she married Edwin Richard Stockton. He preceded her in death on September 8, 1987.

Surviving are a sister, Elaine (Richard) Bonewitz of South Bend; a sister-in-law, Pat Shoner of West Virginia; three nieces, Julie Mallamad of Carmel, Andrea Hammar of Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Sara Sawicki of West Virginia; and two nephews, Bruce Shoner of Charlotte, North Carolina and Steven Shoner of Seattle, Washington.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Richard Shoner.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 3, 2016, at 2 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville with Chaplain Mike Wakeland of Lutheran Life Villages officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.

Calling is Saturday, December 3, 2016, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
