Obituary

Ardith L. Keister, 81, of Wolcottville died Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville.

She was born November 27, 1937, in Albion to Carl and Lottie Mae (Budd) King.

On December 3, 1955, in Albion she married Ronald L. Keister. He preceded her in death on July 8, 2017.

Mrs. Keister was a homemaker.

Surviving are two sons, Michael (Pamela Reeves) Keister of Kendallville and Jake Keister of Wolcottville; a granddaughter, Stephanie (Justin) Dowe; a great granddaughter, Finley Dowe; a great grandson on the way; four sisters, Nancy Blaskie of Rome City, Diane Matthews of Fort Wayne, Irene Roy of DeMotte, and Edith Maddex of Grabill; and a brother, Harold (Delores) King of Fort Wayne.

She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Knox and seven brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be Monday, May 6, 2019, at 12 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendalville with Chaplain Ken Weaver of Parkview Noble Home Health & Hospice officiating. Burial will be in Sweet Cemetery near Albion,

Calling is Monday, May 6, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are to Parkview Noble Home Health & Hospice.
