Obituary

Ardath Faye Hine, 70, of Ashley died Saturday, November 28, 2020, at Parkview DeKalb Hospital in Auburn.

She was born July 18, 1950, in Elkhart to Charles Robert and Elsie Faye (Youngs) Hine. She was the second of ten children born in the Hine household.

Ardath was a charismatic person who demonstrated such wonderful qualities as truth, wisdom, sensibility, understanding, and love.

She leaves behind her best friend, Bonnie Brewer of Ashley; Godson, Larry Heflin of Ashley; Goddaughter, Victoria (Marcus) Teubert of Angola; and her brothers and sisters, Leo, Charles, Frieda, and Roxanne

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, David and Ralph; and sisters, Francis, Thelma, and Lillian.

Ardath was a very special person, who will be forever missed. Like the rising sun, she shined in our presence like a beacon, filling our lives with joy and guidance, until…like the setting sun, her life ended; leaving behind a constant memory of the beauty, she had blanketed our lives with for so long.

The loss of Ardath is heart-wrenching, but her memory will not perish, for it will remain in our hearts forever. Ardath, we will always love you.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 3, 2020) from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church, 560 W 400 N, Angola.

The funeral service will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the church with Pastor Denver DeKeyser officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeside Cemetery, Fremont.

Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville is assisting the family with arrangements.
