Anna Marie Stadick, 72, of Kendallville died Sunday, March 20, 2011, at 5 p.m. in her residence.
She moved to this area in 1995, coming from Chicago. She worked as a file clerk for the Meat Cutters Union, as a clerk in grocery stores, and did factory work while living in Chicago.
Anna enjoyed doing puzzles, reading, and shopping with her sister. She was an avid Chicago Cubs baseball fan.
She was born March 20, 1939, in Chicago to Edward A. and Anna (Machek) Stadick.
Surviving are a sister, Emily J. Napier of Rome City; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Franklin J. Stadick of Chicago, James J. Stadick, Frederick A. and Linda Stadick of Chicago, and Jeanette M. Stadick of Winfield, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Edward W. Stadick; a brother-in-law, Ishmael Napier, and a nephew, John A. Stadick.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at 2 p.m. with calling from noon until service time in Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville with Pastor Tom Dyson officiating. Burial will be in Orange Cemetery, Rome City.
