Anna Marie Lash, 73, of Pleasant Lake, Indiana died unexpectedly Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at her residence.

She was born May 3, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan to William L. and Donna J. (Case) Rigg.

On January 4, 1969, in Orland, she married Richard A. Lash. He survives in Pleasant Lake.

Mrs. Lash worked as a receptionist at Indiana Physical Therapy.

Anna was a member of the Orland American Legion Post 423 Auxiliary.

She loved to play board games with her family, especially with her grandchildren. Monopoly was her favorite game.

Also surviving are a daughter, Tina M. (Doug) Wolcott of Crawfordsville; a son, Michael A. Lash of Angola; ten grandchildren, Chris Lash, Cody Lash, Kasey Lash, Zoe Pettit, Ava Pettit, Duncan Lash, Tristan Lash, Nicholas Wolcott, Dylan Wolcott, and Gavin Wolcott; two great-grandchildren, Bailey Lash and Kinsley Lash; a sister, Elizabeth R. (Tom) Acker of Howe; and a brother William Lamar Rigg of Howe.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 14, 2022, at 1 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Hudson-Ashley Chapel, 612 North Main Street, Hudson with Pastor Craig Burkholder of Hudson United Brethren Church officiating.

Burial will follow at Prince of Peace Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are to the Steuben County Cancer Society or the Pleasant Lake Fire Department.
