Anna M. Bailey, 91, of Kendallville died Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at 2:15 a.m. in Parkview Noble Hospital, Kendallville.
She was a 1939 graduate of Kendallville High School.
She worked at Publix Cafe, did the book work for her husband's plumbing business, and was a homemaker.
Anna was a member of Trinity Church United Methodist in Kendallville. She volunteered at the Bargain Shop in Kendallville, was an antique collector, and enjoyed doing craft work.
She was born November 13, 1920, in Kendallville to William Adam and Maude (Thompson) Wagner. On July 15, 1939, in Albion she married Kenneth O. Bailey. He preceded her in death on April 23, 1993.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Ralph Shew of Shipshewana; a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Pam Bailey of Kendallville; five grandchildren, Charles Kilgore, Kenneth Kilgore, Nicole Allread, Tod Bailey, and Rachel Ruse; eight great-grandchildren, Casey Kilgore, Jesse Kilgore, Lucus Bailey, Isaac Kilgore, Zachary Allread, Benjamin Allread, Bailey Grace Ruse, and Dylan Bailey.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Acker and Nina Rasler; nine brothers, Harold, Roy, Earl, Walter, Carl, William, Harry, Robert, and Richard Wagner; and two great-grandsons, Alexander Kenneth Bailey and Christopher Alan Bailey.
Funeral services will be Thursday, February 23, 2012, at 2:30 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 S. State St., Kendallville with Pastor James D. Bartlett officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Kilgore and Kenneth Kilgore. Active pallbearers will be Tod Bailey, Ben Allread, Zach Allread, Lucus Bailey, Jesse Kilgore and Casey Kilgore.
Calling is Thursday from 12:30-2:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
Preferred memorials are to Trinity Church United Methodist in Kendallville.
