Obituary

Alice Mahala Duvall, 87, of LaGrange, Indiana, died Monday, May 10, 2021, at her residence with her family at her side.

She was born July 20, 1933, in Chicago, Illinois, to Van and Annabella (Dare) McFatridge.

Mrs. Duvall was a homemaker.

Alice enjoyed playing penny slots, solitaire, and doing puzzles. She also enjoyed going to amusement parks and country music concerts. Sharing stories with her family about her life history was a favorite pastime.

Surviving are four daughters, Michelle Pappas of LaGrange, Elizabeth (Michael) Marcink of LaGrange, Rosanne (Louie) Poorman of Oaklawn, Illinois, and Earlene (Al) Richer of Nevada; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a brother, John "Danny" (Elaine) McFatridge of Cloquet, Minnesota.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Stephanie Pappas; two sons, Dennis Booker and Steven Pappas; a sister, Georgeana Reinheimer; and three brothers, Tom McFatridge, Emmitt McFatridge, and Jerry McFatridge.

There will be no visitation or services.
