Albert "Butch" Williams, 80 of Kendallville died Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at his residence.

He was born July 20, 1944, in Sikeston, Missouri, to Curtis and Bernidean (Bramlett) Williams.

On June 10, 2010, in LaGrange he married Cheryl A. Perkins.

Mr. Williams retired as a maintenance man for the LaGrange Apartments.

Butch enjoyed playing computer games and watching westerns.

Surviving are his wife, Cheryl Williams of Kendallville; a daughter, Tina Williams of Missouri; a stepson, Josh (Deb) Gayheart of North Carolina; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; eight siblings, Cathy (Pat) Ley, Larry Williams, and Gary (Karen) Williams all of Kendallville, Candy (Ron) Jones of Florida, Larry Joe Williams also of Kendallville, Kim Rowland of Arkansas, Robbie Kimball and Michael Kimball of Missouri; and two nephews, Kevin Williams and Levi Williams both of Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Curtis and Jean Williams; his mother, Bernidean Kimball; and nine siblings, Steven Williams, Steve Williams, Wayne Williams, Linda June Williams Carter, Corporal Larry Joe Williams, Ronnie Kimball, Don Kimball, Ricky Kimball and Terry Kimball.

Visitation is Monday, October 21, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville.

Funeral services will be Monday, October 21, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Brushy Chapel Cemetery.
