A Community Grief Care & Education Group will be starting on Tuesday's from March 3rd to May 12th from 4:00 to 5:30 pm. Meetings will be held in room 3 at the Kendallville Public Library.
This group is for those who have experienced the death of a loved one and need a safe place in which to mourn, to learn, and to find new meaning in life. Each meeting will include times of sharing and a discussion of 'Understanding Your Grief - Ten Essential Touchstones for Finding Hope and Healing Your Heart' by Dr. Alan Wolfelt.
The group facilitators include Joann Grepke, LSW, MAPM, who was trained by Dr. Alan Wolfelt at his Center for Loss and Transition, and Ken Hartman, a former group participant, who offers helpful insights and first-hand experience of grieving the death of a spouse.
Pre-registration by February 23rd is needed to have books available by the first session. Please contact Joann Grepke at 260-347-9029.
